How to request deletion
You can request account deletion by contacting
[email protected]. If you can access the app, use the in-app account and privacy request flow when available. If you cannot access the app, email support from the address linked to your Purrfect account when possible.
What to include
- Your account email address or phone number, if relevant and available.
- Your display name and whether you used Purrfect as an adopter, lister, or both.
- A clear request, such as: I want to delete my Purrfect account.
Do not send unnecessary sensitive documents
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, identity documents, payment details, private addresses, medical records, or unrelated sensitive documents unless Purrfect specifically requests a narrower item needed to verify or process your request.
Processing timing
We will explain the applicable processing steps and timing through the approved deletion workflow. Limited records may be retained for approved safety, abuse-prevention, legal, or operational reasons.
What may be deleted or anonymized
Depending on account state, Purrfect may delete or anonymize profile information, account details, listing ownership links, contact readiness information, support request context, and other personal information tied to normal account operation.
What may be retained
Purrfect may retain minimized records needed for safety reviews, abuse prevention, reports, moderation history, audit integrity, dispute handling, legal obligations, operational security, or privacy request tracking.
Effect on listings, requests, and contact records
Deletion may remove, disable, anonymize, or disconnect your listings, saved items, requests, reports, and contact-related records where appropriate. Some contact, report, moderation, or audit records may remain in limited form when needed to protect users, pets, or the service.
