Clear information before using Purrfect

Responsible adoption and rehoming

Every listing, message, report, and handoff should protect the pet's welfare and help both sides make informed decisions.

Expected behavior

- Share truthful pet details, photos, health notes, behavior context, and rehoming reasons.

- Communicate respectfully and keep contact focused on the adoption or rehoming purpose.

- Disclose known medical needs, medication, vaccination or neutering status, bite or aggression history, anxiety, special care, and home-fit concerns.

- Choose safe public or appropriate neutral places for first meetings when possible, and do not rush handoffs.

Not allowed

- Animal abuse, neglect, abandonment, fighting, harmful breeding, illegal activity, or instructions that put animals or people at risk.

- Paid pet sales, deposits, commissions, mating requests, scams, fake rescue claims, impersonation, spam, or pressure tactics.

- Harassment, threats, discrimination, sexual content, hate, intimidation, or unsafe meetups.

- Publishing private phone numbers, emails, addresses, social accounts, or report details outside the supported contact or safety flow.

Respectful contact

Do not pressure someone to share contact details, accept an adoption, make a rushed decision, meet in an unsafe place, send money, or ignore a pet's needs.

Reporting suspicious behavior

Report suspicious listings, scams, harassment, welfare concerns, unsafe meetings, misuse of contact details, or attempts to sell pets through Purrfect. Reports are handled through moderation workflows and are not public posts.

Enforcement

Violations may lead to listing edits, listing removal, contact limits, account restrictions, preserved safety records, or other moderation actions. Purrfect may act without advance notice when needed to protect users, pets, or the service.
